The Peace and Freedom Movement declared its existence as an independent, justice-seeking, and anti-discrimination movement and emphasized its three fundamental principles: justice, freedom, and solidarity.

A gathering held on this occasion in California, USA, was attended by a large number of Afghan politicians, youth, and educators, including foreign political activists.

Samim Yawar, the Leader of this movement, said at the declaration ceremony that the main goal of this movement is to unite freedom-seeking forces, especially youth, and strive for social justice, strengthen the voice of peace, and establish an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

To pave the way for the establishment of a national and democratic system in Afghanistan by relying on the historical and cultural identity of the people and through civil and political struggle.

Sami Soltani, another member of the movement, told the media that the Peace and Freedom Movement has also published its specific addresses through virtual networks so that the political and diplomatic activities of the movement can be communicated to the people of Afghanistan through these addresses and its specific website.

The ceremony was accompanied by an enthusiastic welcome from the refugee community and extensive national and international media coverage, and was recorded as a turning point in the contemporary history of the freedom struggles of the Afghan people.

Yesterday, the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, hosted a meeting with representatives of the European Union and a group of political activists, human rights defenders, and women’s rights advocates from Afghanistan. The stated purpose of this meeting was to review the current situation in Afghanistan and exchange views on ways to help the people, especially women, of that country.

Cecile strada, a member of the European Parliament, expressed her deep concern about the recent violence by the Taliban, particularly against women. She stated that they are closely monitoring the situation in Afghanistan and have rescued and transferred a large number of people at risk of death by the Taliban to Europe in the past four years.

Alessandra Moretti, another member of the Union from Italy, even shed tears in response to the recent crimes of the Taliban against Afghan women and expressed support and appreciation for the struggles of Afghan women in defending their rights.

Representatives of Afghan women also expressed their concerns and views.

Freshta Sama, a popular Afghan singer who participated in the meeting, also spoke, expressing her concern about the situation of Afghan artists under the rule of this group and asking the European Union to cooperate with Afghan artists.

Dr. Noorulhaq Nasimi, founder of the Afghanistan and Central Asian Foundation, also spoke, urging the representatives of the European Parliament to have clear plans for Afghanistan as soon as possible.

Representatives of the European Union said that they are closely monitoring the current situation in Afghanistan and are doing their best to support Afghan women.

Although these EU commitments and programs are commendable, they raise important questions about the EU’s overall approach to the Afghan crisis.

Jawed Kargar, another Afghan political activist based in Europe, expressed concern about the exodus of scientific elites from Afghanistan, asking why European and American countries are not trying to save 45 million people from the clutches of the Russian terrorist Taliban instead of evacuating individuals from Afghanistan.

In his speech, Mr. Kargar asked the European Parliament three basic questions, but he never received an answer.

1- While 45 million people in Afghanistan are at risk under the rule of the Russian terrorist Taliban group, why are the member states of the European Union not trying to destroy the Russian Taliban in Afghanistan?

2- Why is the European Union not fulfilling its promises to Afghanistan and taking practical steps to destroy the Russian Taliban?

3- If the European Union is not directly interfering in Afghanistan, why doesn’t it support women’s movements and various Russian terrorist fronts and freedom-loving groups so that the Afghan people themselves can eradicate terrorism?

Although for the first time after Russia recognized the Taliban, the use of the words “Russian Taliban” was raised by Mr. Kargar in the European Parliament, it was interesting for the representatives of this Union.

However, the response of the European Union representatives to the questions of Mr. Kargar and other participants in this meeting was a promise to provide an answer in the near future. Providing an answer in the future or soon indicates the lack of a specific and decisive strategy by the European Union to resolve the Afghan crisis.

This meeting once again showed that the international community, especially the European Union, faces serious challenges regarding the situation in Afghanistan. While humanitarian aid and efforts to evacuate people at risk are necessary, resolving the underlying crisis in Afghanistan requires a more comprehensive and decisive approach.

Supporting internal forces opposed to the ًTaliban and working to destroy terrorism are among the measures that can help improve the situation in Afghanistan.

The countries that oppose the goals and plans of Russia, Iran, and China globally are the largest of these countries, including Ukraine, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, and France, which are strongly opposed to their political, military, and economic plans both regionally and globally.

These three military liberation fronts, which are actually inside Afghanistan to liberate Afghanistan from the clutches of Taliban and ISIS-K terrorism, should strengthen their ties with these countries as soon as possible and take advantage of this opportunity.
