13 Taliban fighters killed and wounded in Kandahar province

Kandahar police say 13 Taliban insurgents have been killed and wounded in clashes between security forces and the Taliban.

Sources in Kandahar province reported that 13 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in a battle with security forces, killing five Taliban fighters in the Maroof district of Kandahar and wounding eight others.
Abdul Jamal Nasser, spokesman for the Kandahar Security Command, told Pishgoo News Agency: “Five Taliban fighters were killed and eight others were wounded in a clash between security forces and Taliban fighters in Nader Khan area of ​​Nader Khan district of Kandahar province.”
Mr. Nasser added that the security forces were not harmed in the clash.
